Cameron Park on Market Street is the destination of the parade with the gazebo was filled with the Sunbury band.

Susquehanna River Fabridam in Sunbury

Every May, the "bags are up" damming the river to make Lake Augusta. By Memorial Day, the boats are out enjoying the seasonal lake.

The "Fabridam", built over 40 years ago, is an engineering marvel that's inflated with air and water.

Long standing conflicts over the impact on fish "Shad" runs and recreation were eventually resolved with a fish passage on the West side.

Shikellamy State Park Marina

A true relaxing sanctuary located on Packer Island between Sunbury and Northumberland.

A one mile paved trail laps the park. Hundreds of tables and parking make for an inviting picnic retreat.

During the summer, the garden blooms for an added highlight to park.

Forest Hills Cemetery - Pond Reflections

In proximity to the trails that lead to Klapperthal trails or down to the river (Exeter Scenic River Trail), this is a lovely pond in a peaceful setting.

Forest Hills is a beautiful final resting place with it's rolling hills and mature shade trees.
