In the foreground on the left is Northumberland and to the right Packer Island where the Shikellamy State Park Marina resides.
The "Fabridam", built over 40 years ago, is an engineering marvel that's inflated with air and water.
Long standing conflicts over the impact on fish "Shad" runs and recreation were eventually resolved with a fish passage on the West side.
A one mile paved trail laps the park. Hundreds of tables and parking make for an inviting picnic retreat.
During the summer, the garden blooms for an added highlight to park.
